In addition to expressing his concerns about the Republican Party, President Barack Obama picked up the mic and joined the late night host to Slow Jam the News.

Obviously after a performance like that the president had no choice but to drop the mic.

I loved the reminder to leave a little room for unplanned moments. On a recent trip, a missed train led me to spend an afternoon in a small café near the station, and it ended up being one of my favorite memories.
