Nama Deddy Raksawardana sudah tak asing lagi bagi para penggemar musik Indonesia. Awal tahun 2000-an Deddy dikenal sebagai salah satu pemain band NaFF, grup musik yang melejit namanya dengan sederetan lagu-lagu pop anak muda. Pemain band bernama lengkap Deddy Ginanjar Raksawardana ini juga sering menggarap video klip bersama penyanyi kondang Indonesia lainnya. Di antaranya bersama Dian Pramana Poetra alm.; Grup Band Radja, penyanyi Tompi dan lainnya. Deddy juga pernah menggarap beberapa layar lebar maupun film pendek bersama penulis dan sutradara Salman Aristo.
Sejumlah karyanya sebagai sutradara bisa dilihat di airstudio.co. Film indie berjudul ‘’Alpha Project: Arwah Penasaran’’ yang diproduksinya lewat Production House bernama AIR (Anugerah Interkreasi Raksawardana) misalnya, sempat tayang di beberapa gedung bioskop Indonesia.
Selain itu, Deddy juga menjadi sutradara dua film dokumenter di AS bekerjasama dengan Indonesia Lantern Media LLC. Satu di antaranya bercerita tentang ‘’Pandemic Stories of The Indonesian Community in Philadelphia’’. Film yang terdiri dari 3 bagian ini cukup sukses karena beredar di saat Pandemi COVID-19 tengah mencapai puncaknya tahun 2019.
