President Obama Slow Jams the News with Jimmy Fallon, totally earns mic drop

NBC.com — Hail to this Chief, y’all. Jimmy Fallon’s main man Bareezus slow rocked The Tonight Show heezus for an episode that aired Thursday.

In addition to expressing his concerns about the Republican Party, President Barack Obama picked up the mic and joined the late night host to Slow Jam the News.

There are three things to relish in the video:

1. POTUS’ facial expressions — especially around 3:25 when Fallon talks about how he had to maneuver after being blocked by Congress.

2. When the president dances to and sings Work around the 5:25 mark.

3. And, lastly his witty burn for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Sure, Fallon has some smooth lyrics, but “Baracky with the good hair” talking about his new favorite show, Orange Is Not the New Black, is priceless.

Obviously after a performance like that the president had no choice but to drop the mic.
