Seorang diplomat Indonesia ditemukan tewas di sebuah guest house di Jakarta, Selasa lalu. Diplomat bernama Arya Daru Pangayunan, ditemukan di Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, Menteng Jakarta Pusat, dalam kondisi menyedihkan.
Kepala dan wajahnya terbungkus pita lakban warna kuning, sehingga korban sulit bernafas. ‘’Kami sedang memeriksa sejumlah saksi,’’ tutur Komisaris Besar Polisi Susatyo Purnomo Condro kepada Harian Tribun Jakarta.
Arya Daru Pangayunan ditemukan tewas oleh penjaga penginapan yang membuka paksa kamar korban. Hal itu dilakukan, setelah ia menerima telpon dari istri korban yang tidak dapat menghubungi Arya sejak beberapa hari sebelumnya. ‘’Setelah kamarnya dicek dan dibuka paksa, didapati korban tergeletak dengan kepala terbungkus lakban,’’ tutur penjaga penginapan.
Hingga berita ini ditulis, jasad korban dikirim ke Rumah Sakit Umum Cipto Mangunkusumo, Jakarta untuk diotopsi.
Di Departemen Luar Negeri RI, Arya Daru Pangayunan, bekerja sebagai diplomat fungsional muda di Direktorat Perlindungan Warga Negara Indonesia.
Lelaki warga Sleman berusia 39 tahun itu, menurut rencana, akan ditugaskan di Perwakilan RI di Finlandia Juli nanti. Arya, lulusan Universitas Gajah Mada Yogyakarta jurusan Hubungan Internasional itu, pernah bertugas di KBRI Buenos Aires, KBRI Dili, dan beberapa negara lain.
Arya juga sering menulis berbagai masalah yang dihadapi WNI di luar negeri. Satu di antaranya berjudul ‘’Pemulangan 7 Anak Pekerja Migran Indonesia Overstayer dari Taiwan’’.
Diam-diam ada dugaan yang menyebut Arya dihabisi sebuah komplotan karena ikut mengusut pemyelenggaraan judi online dan transaksi jual beli ginjal non resmi di Kamboja, yang melibatkan sejumlah warga Infonesia.
