Obama and Bourdain Eat Cheap Noodles, Drink Cold Beer in Vietnam

President Barack Obama ate “cheap but delicious noodles” and drank “cold Hanoi beer” while sitting on a “low plastic stool” during his trip to Vietnam, according to the world’s most celebrated glutton.

TV personality Anthony Bourdain shared a meal with the president at the Bun Cha Huong Lien restaurant.

The “Parts Unknown” host posted photos of their grilled pork and noodle feast to his Twitter and Instagram accounts on Monday, noting that the “President’s chopstick skills are on point.”

“Total cost of bun Cha dinner with the president: $6.00,” Bourdain added. “I picked up the check.”

Obama is on a week-long trip to Asia. On Monday, he announced the end of a five decade-long arms embargo with Vietnam.
