Sebagai anak Asian American (khususnya anak Indonesia yang lahir dan besar di Amerika), harus beradaptasi di dua budaya, budaya orang tuanya dan budaya di lingkungan sekitar. Banyak mereka yang merasa bingung dimana keberadaan mereka yang sebenarnya. Kami dari Indonesian Lantern mewawancarai beberapa nara sumber untuk mengetahui lebih jauh apakah anak-anak Indonesia ini merasakan perbedaan tersebut dan apakah berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan mental mereka.
